Dick Gibson: My 42 Years as the Attorney for Farmington

A member of the Club since 1976 and a respected member of Albemarle County’s legal community, Dick Gibson served as Farmington’s attorney for 42 years, from 1979–2021. A current member of the Club’s Board, he will share highlights of his decades-long representation of Farmington, exploring what it means to be a member-owned club. Topics will include the establishment of the Farmington Historical Society Foundation, real estate issues in the Farmington subdivision, and “notorious” member and guest conduct resulting in disciplinary proceedings.
