Farmington Country Club has existed for over 90 years, but its roots are far deeper. The land on which the Club rests boasts centuries of history. There is likely no other country club in America with a history quite like that of Farmington. The buildings are also unlike those of any other country club. To fully appreciate their architectural significance, one must understand what they were. The main house was built in the late 1700s. Thomas Jefferson drew plans for an octagonal addition to the house in 1803, now referred to as the Jefferson Room.
Farmington is a traditional, family-oriented private club with a proud history and rich traditions. Historic Farmington provides the most pleasant accommodations for your social entertaining. The private rooms of the Club offer a variety of amenities from a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains to a warm, cozy fireplace. Our kitchen and service staff promise to make your event a memorable occasion. The Club’s function rooms are available most days of the year for use by our members and their sponsored guests.
From an elegant ballroom wedding reception for 250 to a simple conference room meeting for 10, Farmington’s special event facilities offer the perfect setting for every kind of event or function.
