Farmington Historical Society Foundation
The Farmington Historical Society Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, strives to preserve, document, and celebrate Farmington's unique historic structures, to research and understand its history, and to educate its members and others about the significance of Farmington's remarkable legacy. We expect to continue to strengthen Farmington's place as a premier national club through the preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse of our historic structures, and through research and education about its history to ensure the continued interest in and support of the past, present, and future of our dynamic club.
We are excited that we have a robust, full, and fascinating array of programs for 2024. Please visit the Programs and Events section and watch for full details in the Farmington Club Circle.
The FHSF is inspired by the assessment of noted historic preservation architects Mesick, Cohen, Wilson and Baker, who recognized Farmington’s national and international significance, writing, “Farmington is a cultural treasure of national and international importance and presents an opportunity to discover heretofore unknown Jeffersonian features. Posterity will be forever grateful."
